Our Ofsted report

Westfield is officially "Outstanding" at helping children to be healthy - and we have a glowing OFSTED report right across the board!

"Children are highly valued as individuals," says the inspector, adding that they are "excited and motivated to learn."

"Children's health is paramount," he says, praising our "highly enthusiastic approach to physical exercise."

We knew it all along, but it's nice that OFSTED thinks Westfield's staff are "extremely vigilant," while the children are "enthusiastic, highly motivated and very happy."

We have always been proud of our inspection reports - going right back to the early 90s when North Yorkshire Social Services gave us glowing reports. In those days we were the only nursery in the country to publish our inspection reports on the Internet.

"Children are well protected from possible abuse or neglect"

"All staff fully understand their responsibilities to the children in their care and show a good understanding of the procedure to follow with any concerns."

"Children enjoy an excellent range of rich, varied and imaginative activities, which fully involve them and develop their imagination, language, mathematical, physical and creative development."

"Children are highly confident, they are very keen to communicate and build strong relationships with other children"
