Westfield Day Nursery and Out of School Club is the only Childcare provider in North Yorkshire with both the Investor in Children Award and the Investor in People Award.
The North Yorkshire accreditation process is more thorough than an Ofsted inspection, with eight separate modules which are independently assessed. Every aspect of the way Westfield is operated was reviewed and recorded.
The North Yorkshire accreditation meets the rigorous standards of the government-backed Investor in Children Award scheme – and is designed to assure parents that any provider with the award is committed to delivering standards associated with high quality programmes and positive child outcomes.
We also gained the prestigious Investor in People Award in 2005.
The Investor in People award is in recognition of the way everyone works together at Westfield, while the Investor in Children accreditation shows parents that the standards of care and education at Westfield really are the best available
